Rick Mearns Wins PCAM Award

Rick MearnsCanadian magician Rick Mearns has brought home yet another trophy. Last week, Mearns won first place for the best children's entertainer, at this year's Pacific Coast Association of Magicians (PCAM) convention.

Held on board a cruise ship traveling from Vancouver to Los Angeles, the five-day magic convention featured lectures, shows and contests, all catering to the finest magicians from the Pacific Rim

A full-time professional magician, Mearns performs mainly at corporate events for children and adults alike.

Two years ago, Mearns made Burnaby known again, as his incredible speed as a master balloon twister earned him the title of the West Coast champion (U.S. and Canada)
